A little bit of sugar always works.

Wasn't a good day today. I have had major allergies since Saturday. When I get allergies I get the same symptoms like if I was sick with the flu. So right now I am dealing with a stuffed nose, clogged ears, and watery/itchy eyes. The worst part was that I had a job interview today. I went and it was a total disaster. While they were interviewing me I couldn't hear the questions correctly, so I had to ask them to repeat themselves. I just feel like I blew this interview. I couldn't reschedule for another time. I'm still hoping to get a call back from them but mehh. Anyways I got home and started baking. Before I woulda have gotten home and started pigging out on junk food. I've been able to control my emotional eating so now I bake and give them away. I also go running when I'm having bad days but I got home around 1pm and it was just too humid and windy . I made a little Minion from "Despicable Me" 

As you cans see I still suck at baking lol Actually this is my first time baking a cake, I usually bake cupcakes and cookies. So to be honest I think I did pretty good :) I didn't have any black decorating icing so I had to improvise and use blue frosting for the glasses and coco puffs for the mouth. Oops. I named the minion Broken. Only because he has no legs, no arms, no hair and he broke into half when I transferred him from trays lol I'm going to give Broken to my neighbor only because he let me borrow the first "Despicable Me" dvd!!

Round One

There are still a couple of my friends who haven't finished with summer school. Well they are gonna finish today. We are going out to celebrate the ending of a very stressful summer session!!! We are heading out to Round one....it kinda of like Chuck E Cheese but better? (from what I heard) In the meanwhile I'm bugging my friends by sending them funny memes like these: 

The good thing is that my friends have a good sense of humor so they don't get hurt! lol Since they'll be done with school we will ALL have 4 weeks to go out and have a good time! Can't wait to see what is in store for us.

Couch to 5k

            How I missed going jogging at night! I just love watching sunset while jogging. It makes me feel alive and grateful for living another day. 

          Ever since my surgery I've been keeping my jogs short until I gain the necessary endurance and strength to once again run like I used. Keep in mind I only ran 4 times per day lol Surprisingly jogging makes me sweat a bunch!? Is that weird? or is it because I haven't done it in a while Lol Anyways I'm hoping to start the couch to 5k program by next week that way I can sign up for a 5k before turning 21. I heard of a zombie 5k where it looks like a scene of the walking dead. Like there's zombies actually chasing you trying to eat your brains! How cool is that!? I hope it's still open to register because I'm sure it will be an unforgettable experience!! 

Summer

I took a 5-week anatomy course and it kicked my ass. I was at school from Monday to Thursday from 3:30-10p.m. I didn't have a social life for a while but I had to be done. I just finished the class on the 18th of this month. We learned about 11 organ systems and we dissected a cat.

 It was a very stressful 5 weeks that after my final I couldn't sleep and when I was asleep I dreamed about me being at class -_- On Friday I slept in until 2:30 pm and then Claudia came over. We had to buy stuff for her 19th b-day beach party. The party was on the 20th at Dockweiler beach, near LAX. Claudia and I left my house at 7:30 am to get a bonfire pit. (you have to get there early or else you are left with nothing!) We got there around 8am and we got a pit right in front of the water. I knocked out for almost 3 hours. People got there around 3pm and then it was all fun from there! We played beach volleyball, grilled carne asada, and got in the water. We cooked smores during the bonfire. YUMMY! I can officially say that my summer has begun!!!!
