Happiness

I love the feeling of being happy! Smiling for no reason. Having people tell me that I smile a lot and that makes them smile too. Ever since Tuesday. Got some really good news. I'll probably share this good news by the end of the week. 

Little Brother

Today is my littlest brother's birthday. I have four brothers. The oldest is 26, the other one is 22, then its me, then the other one is 14 and now Dewy is 12 years old. I went to work for 3 hours and on my way back home brought the cake. I got a chocoflan. Which is a combination of flan and chocolate cake. We ate carne asada and rice. Then we headed to Ross and Walmart. 

Black

Today was FUN!! First thing I did when I woke up was go run. I broke my lowest time running a mile...Back in June I ran a mile in16 minutes and 45 seconds and today I did it in 11 minutes and 8 seconds. Yay! Then I had to get ready to buy my work uniform. I went to Ross. I have to go dress in black...head to toe. The shirt we wear has to have a collar and we cannot wear jeans (because the burn is worst if you drop something hot). Our shoes need to also be completely black. Since I couldn't find any shoes at Ross I had to go to the Vans outlet. It was already 11:45 am when I was barely driving to Vans. I was starting to freak out since I had to be at work at 1pm. It only took me 10 minutes to go in and out of the Vans store. Felt like flash!! I got home at 12:20pm and just got ready. Today I learned how to use the Espresso machine and how to make a great Espresso shot! :) We did like 6 different hot drinks...just to be short...I got really hyper. I sure I'm still hyper. Anyways can't wait for tomorrow since we are going to learn how to make cold drinks..my favorite!!!

Coffee

The story about how coffee is made is amazing. We drink so much coffee and it would be nice to know what we are drinking and just all the amount of time it takes to be prepared. First of all I didn't know that coffee came from cherries. I'm just paraphrasing so just stick with me lol then it is hand picked and then roasted. There's more specific steps so don't think I'm giving the wrong information haha anyways! Today I tried Ethopian, Honduras, and panama brewed coffee. It was good! Just can't wait for tomorrow. 

Happiness.

Still can't believe I start training tomorrow. Today I went to pick my mom up at the airport. Took her out to eat at her favorite hamburger place, In-n-Out. She was telling me all about her trip and it made me want to go with her next time she goes. So I can't wait for that! As we drove back home I realized that I didn't even eat my entire cheeseburger. Before my surgery I was capable of eating an entire double double burger and fries. I'm happy in a way that I can feel my body changing. We got home and she gave me all the little gifts my cousins had sent from Mexico. I received a little doll and a hello kitty charm bracelet. 

After my mom was done passing out everything, I realized I had to print some papers out for tomorrow. I officially start training tomorrow I can't wait :) I'm still in shock at how fast all of this is happening. I applied for this job back in May, it is now August. To be honest I already had forgotten about this job. Anyways, everything happens for a reason and I just know that this job feels right. Lets see how tomorrow goes.

Finally!

I got the job!!! Yay. I start on Wednesday at 11am. It is part time so that's even better for when I start school.

Eyebrows.

Finally got my eyebrows threaded!! I already had a caterpillar unibrow lol last time I did my eyebrows was 1 week after I came out of the hospital. I was 4 months with ugly eyebrows. I love when they are nice looking. I feel like it makes my face look more clean. Therefore I feel more confident. Who knew that eyebrows had such an impact? 

Relatives

Today was pretty fun! Had my uncle over the entire day. We cooked pan basos, a mexican sandwich covered in red sauce. We got 2 movies from redbox. First we watched "The call" and then "Mama". All of a sudden I got a call from my brother saying that he had been contacted by a job I had applied to around 3 months ago. To be honest I had forgotten about it! They gave me an interview for this Monday. Let's hope this one goes better than the one on Tuesday.

Listen.

Woke up around 12pm. My friend sent me the pictures of us on the boat and they were nice. Today was the first day I drank soda ever since January of this year. It was nasty. Eww. There was no water or juice. So I had to. I then got ready to go to church, Friday's are youth services. This means a youth is chosen to direct the first 30 minutes and pick what songs to sing. Tonight was my turn. It was full of blessings and can't wait to do it again!!

First day

Went to Manhattan beach. Played beach volleyball. Got thrown in the water and hit by 2 waves. Went to San Pedro. Went on a boat ride for $15. 

Ordered a shrimp cocktail. Went to the Korean friendship tower in San Pedro to watch the sunset but it was closed :( Then drove all the way Azusa just to play a game of bowling. Got some yogurt at Yogurtland. Drove all the way to long beach to walk around "the pike." We ran to the park and saw two raccoon fight. Stayed talking for almost 2 hours. Dropped my friend off at her house around 1:15 am. Drove to my house and stayed talking inside the car until 2:45 am. What an awesome 1st of August!!! Oh and I got a sick tan!!
