Walking around.

I love the current weather in Los Angeles. These past days have been windy/sunny/rainy. I just love the fact that I can wear my coats, colorful scarfs and sunglasses without looking like a total creep. Today was full of unexpected adventures...again. I went to ask for information on how to join YMCA. The closest one to my house is around 3 miles away and is easy to go in the bus. HUGE PLUS. I woke up excited and what not, but once I got there, the gym was CLOSED...as in CLOSED FOR EVER -_- I should have probably called before going...lesson learned. I was already out of the house so I thought it would be fun to walk around the city. The city of Huntington Park is perhaps well known for a shopping strip called "La Pacific". It consists of one long street full of clothing stores, movie theaters and restaurants. I love going to a coffee shop called "Tierra Mia." I am probably a bit addicted to their delicious hot horchata latte. Just look at it!!!!!

This picture is from the last time I went with Yvette. We always like catching up while drinking lattes and eating muffins. It probably sounds like I'm promoting "Tierra Mia" but you gotta give credit where credit is due. Just saying. I mean look at this other picture...yummy!!!

This picture is from another time that I went with Claudia. It seems like I'm always encouraging my friends to go there. Oh well! Enough about "Tierra Mia". After I went to buy my latte, I kept walking around "Pacific." I noticed about 3 stores that were currently hiring. So I said "What the heck!, I'm going to go inside and apply." And I did!!! I turned in the applications and they told me they will get in touch with me shortly. YAY!! After that I got on the bus and made my way back home. To my surprise I had a message from an office that I applied to last week. I called them back immediately and set up a job interview for tomorrow at 2 pm. Anyways, I'M SO EXCITED for tomorrow. I'm planning on going jogging in the morning to release all of my nerves!!!! HA. Wish me luck ;)
